Colossians 2:1–7 — Rooted and Built Up in Christ Welcome to this Bible teaching from Colossians 2:1–7. In this passage, the apostle Paul reveals his deep concern and prayerful struggle for believers—that they may be encouraged in heart, united in love, and grow in the full knowledge of Christ. Paul reminds us that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found in Jesus Christ. Therefore, believers must not be deceived by persuasive human ideas or false teachings, but must continue to live faithfully in Christ. In this teaching, we learn how to: • Be encouraged and united in Christian love • Know Christ more deeply, who is God’s revealed mystery • Guard our faith against deception • Walk daily in Christ Jesus as Lord • Be rooted, built up, strengthened in faith, and overflowing with thanksgiving The Christian life does not begin with Christ and then move beyond Him. We receive Christ by faith, and we continue to walk in Him every day. May this message help you stand firm, grow spiritually, and remain rooted in the truth of Jesus Christ.
