I Ate 2 Breakfasts for Under $1 in Rural Vietnam | Banh Mi & Bun Bo

How much breakfast can less than one US dollar buy in rural Vietnam? In today’s vlog, I visit two small local breakfast shops in my hometown. First, I try a 5,000 VND bánh mì, which costs about 20 US cents. Then, I enjoy a 20,000 VND bowl of bún bò, a Vietnamese beef noodle soup that costs about 80 cents. Together, both breakfasts cost less than one US dollar. Along the way, I will also show you a newly built flood-resistant bridge and the old narrow bridge that local people used before it. These places may look simple, but they are an important part of everyday life in my rural hometown. My name is Thương.
