This recording is from Clinks’ Small Organisations Network meeting, held on 14 September 2026. The meeting marked the re-establishment of Clinks’ Small Organisations Network, providing a space for smaller voluntary organisations working in the criminal justice sector to connect, share challenges and learn from one another. The session introduced our two new small organisations representatives on the Reducing Reoffending Third Sector Advisory Group (RR3), Patsy Joyce and Dion Lee, and launched the first session of our new mentorship pilot series. Matt Randle, Justice Director at Catch22, led a presentation exploring the main governance barriers that smaller organisations face when seeking statutory funding, alongside practical approaches to overcoming these challenges. The meeting also provided an opportunity for organisations to share experiences, discuss common challenges and highlight examples of best practice. Speaker: Matt Randle, Justice Director, Catch22 RR3 Small Organisations Representatives: Patsy Joyce and Dion Lee Clinks’ Small Organisations Network aims to strengthen connections, provide learning opportunities and ensure the experiences and perspectives of smaller voluntary organisations are represented in national criminal justice discussions.
