Creating an Alien Dreamscape | Sci-Fi Concept Art Photo Manipulation Timelapse

A full timelapse of the creation of Alien Dreamscape, a sci-fi environment concept art piece made through photo manipulation, digital painting and compositing, along with 3D work for the character, Commander Qwatajawa. This illustration is concept art for my upcoming short horror point-and-click visual novel, Astrophobia. It has a surreal, dreamlike atmosphere that felt perfect for the story, and it gives me a strong foundation for developing the final artwork. I won’t say too much about where this scene appears, but it relates to Qwatajawa’s dream at the end of the game. I’d rather leave the full context as a surprise for those who play Astrophobia when it releases in late 2026.
