Ten Thanksgiving desserts, three ingredients each, with the pan and the time on every one, and the fix for today's smaller cake mix box. The full set of 120 is in my book, Box, Can & Butter: menakitchen.com (type it in)
If you've ever looked for the old recipe and found a picture of something else, no oven temperature and no pan size, or made your mother's card and had it come out thin, it isn't you. In this video I give you ten Thanksgiving desserts that go in one pan, with nothing to roll out and no mixer, just a spoon or a fork. For every one I tell you the pan, the oven and the minutes (or the chill time), and when there's a cake mix, how to fix the card for the box you buy today. The pumpkin one my daughter calls about every November is saved for last.

What you'll find in this video:
Cranberry dump cake, crustless pumpkin pie, apple cinnamon roll bake, maple baked pears for two, peanut butter pie, apple pie filling cake, gooey cake bars, no-bake cherry cheesecake pie, pear spice dump cake and pumpkin spice sheet cake
The cake mix fix: old cards were written for an 18.25-ounce box, and the boxes on the shelf now are 13.25 ounces (Betty Crocker) and 15.25 (Duncan Hines)
Two no-oven desserts for when every oven is full of turkey
Food safety for the dessert table: cream cheese desserts go back in the refrigerator within two hours
If you want all 120 old-fashioned desserts with the pan and the time on every page, plus the box chart right at the front, they're in Box, Can & Butter. Give it 30 days. If it doesn't earn a spot next to your oven, write me and you'll get every penny back. Scan the code on your screen, go to menakitchen.com (type it in) , or tap the first link under this video.
Ovens run hot and cold, so go by the cue (the bubbling edge, the clean toothpick, 160 degrees) before the clock. Glass dishes bake faster, so drop the oven 25 degrees. For questions about sugar or allergies at your table, ask your doctor.
Tell me in the comments: what's the dessert somebody in your family asks for every Thanksgiving, and whose card is it on? I read every one.
