He Has Never Failed Me Yet

Verse 1 I've seen the sun go down on dreams, I've walked through nights of silent tears, I've prayed for doors to open wide, And wondered if my God was near. But looking back, I see His hand Had led me farther than I'd planned; And though I couldn't see the way, His love was holding me each day. Chorus He's never failed me yet, He's never left me alone. Through every valley, every trial, He's brought me safely home. When I have lost my strength, His grace has carried me through; My God has been faithful, And He will be faithful too! Verse 2 When Joseph lay in prison chains, When Joseph lay in prison chains, God had not forgotten his name; When Daniel faced the lions' den, The Lord was with His servant then. When Peter sank beneath the waves, The hand of Jesus reached to save; The God who met them in their fear Is still our help, and He is here. Chorus He's never failed me yet, He's never left me alone. Through every valley, every trial, He's brought me safely home. When I have lost my strength, His grace has carried me through; My God has been faithful, And He will be faithful too! Verse 3 And if tomorrow brings more pain, If I must walk through tears again, I'll cling to Christ, my living hope, The One who holds me when I can't cope. For He bore the cross, He left the grave, And rose in triumph, strong to save; Whatever comes, this truth stands sure: In Christ, my hope will still endure. Final Chorus He's never failed me yet, He's never left me alone. Through every valley, every trial, He's brought me safely home.
