HALLOWEEN Santa Cruz 2026: The weirdest, wildest, craziest night of the year!

More than 15,000 costumed revelers filled Pacific Avenue in downtown Santa Cruz for a massive Halloween night street party. The festivities featured music, dancing, food, and elaborate costumes filling the blocked-off streets around Pacific Avenue and Cooper Street. The Santa Cruz Police Department implemented a citywide Safety Enhancement Zone to manage the large-scale pedestrian crowds and street celebrations, and as far as I know, there were no arrests. During the day time, family events included daytime trick-or-treating at the Pacific Avenue businesses, and later on the wharf.
