In this video, I’m spearfishing at Millers Point. It was raining, but the sea was flat and the water beautifully clear — perfect diving conditions. We started off in the shallows, hoping to find some galjoen, but only came across a few undersized ones. So, we decided to head out to a deeper reef, and that’s where things got interesting. On this reef, there was plenty of life — I spotted lots of small copper steenbras and even a few undersized red stumpnose (Miss Lucy). Eventually, I managed to land a solid galjoen measuring 41 cm and a nice red roman at 36 cm. It turned out to be an awesome dive despite the rainy start.
