A new town is set to debut in Pokémon Pokopia, and this time, you won’t just be dipping your toes in—you’ll be diving right in. Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass—Part 1: Bubbly Basin launches on August 5, 2026, bringing an entirely new underwater town for Ditto to restore and explore. This first part of the paid DLC offers a wealth of discoveries. Beneath the ocean’s surface lies a mysterious settlement, and with the newly introduced Dive move, Ditto can submerge to reconstruct its sunken structures and transform it into an idyllic paradise. Popplio will greet you at the town’s entrance, ready to assist in adding brilliance to this aquatic locale. Construction enthusiasts will find new buoyant blocks, enabling multi-level underwater structures that allow for innovative, three-dimensional designs unique to the submerged environment. Agriculture also finds a place here with the introduction of watermelons, a crop perfectly suited to the surroundings—plant seeds, enlist a Water-type Pokémon to shield them with air bubbles, and have a Grow-specialty Pokémon accelerate their growth. Bubbly Basin teems with Water-type Pokémon such as Mudkip, Chinchou, and many others, all eager to contribute their skills toward enhancing the town. With so many new inhabitants, additional homes and thematic furniture designed for underwater living will allow for charming, ocean-inspired interiors.
