Rocky Ridges in Pokémon Pokopia is a ruined version of Pewter City and Mt. Moon — a steep mining town buried under volcanic ash, filled with caves, railway tracks, hot springs, ore deposits, and an old museum inside the mountain. It unlocks after completing the Withered Wastelands Important Request “Yawn up a Storm!” and opens alongside Bleak Beach as a parallel story route. Access is through the northwest gate in Withered Wastelands, with no percentage requirement since it’s tied to story progression. The main objectives include restoring the Pokémon Center by befriending Scorbunny and Machoke, rescuing Chef Dente by unlocking cooking moves through specific Pokémon sequences, starting smelting with Magmar, hosting a party with DJ Rotom to attract Volcanion, and fully rebuilding the Pokémon Center with required materials. Key Pokémon found here include Scorbunny, Machoke, Dartrix, Torkoal, Chef Dente, Magmar, Graveler, DJ Rotom, and Ludicolo. Notable features include the Mine and Mt. Moon, with deep underground mining tunnels, and the Pewter Museum, an underground cave north of the Pokémon Center that requires a powered Cut to access. There are various hot springs, including the Mossy Hot Spring, and ore deposits like copper, iron, gold, and Pokémetal for mining.
