How Much Does Plumbing Cost in Zimbabwe? | Ep. 23 – Building a Home in Zimbabwe While Abroad

In this episode, we move onto the plumbing stage for the cottage and staff quarters in Zimbabwe. After completing the tubing and wiring, the next job was to run the water pipes, waste pipes, bathroom fittings, outside gully drains and the main water supply connections before the finishes go in. I also share some of the decisions we made along the way, including using copper pipes, installing isolation taps, connecting the toilets to the septic system, bringing water from the tanks, and fitting the booster pump for the off-grid water setup. As always, I break down the actual costs so you can see what this stage really cost, including materials and labour.
