Hozen Conversations | Alex Boldin | Episode 1: Metal to Fingerstyle

Fingerstyle guitarist Alex Boldin joins Hozen in Singapore for the first episode of Hozen Conversations. Alex is featured in Hozen's book as "The Blue Label Player", and in this episode he talks about how he got there: classical piano lessons from age 5, figuring out his grandma's old five-string guitar as a teenager, playing lead guitar in a heavy metal band, and then discovering Andy McKee and Tommy Emmanuel, which pointed him toward fingerstyle. He also shares how he first found a Maestro guitar in a Bangkok mall and knew it fit his voice. Event organizers in Asia: Alex is up for his first Asia tour!
