皆さんこんにちは!Nihongo Studio Journal へようこそ。 In this episode, I went cycling with two of my students visiting from London — from Iwase all the way to Sewa machi in Namerikawa. Along the way, we discovered pieces of local history hiding in plain sight: a barbershop pole with a surprising past, a sentō (public bath) sign, a quiet shrine, an old post-town on the Hokkoku Kaidō road, a historic sake brewery, and a mural celebrating local festival culture. This episode is great for beginner to intermediate Japanese learners (N4–N3 level). English and Spanish subtitles are available by turning on captions (CC) and select your language! 📝 Topics covered: Talking about travel and daily activities (〜をしました) Describing towns and history (昔は〜でした) Vocabulary: 銭湯, 酒蔵, 宿場町, 神社 #learnjapaneseinsinhala #japanesepodcast #japanesetown #aprenderjapones #countrysidejapan
