One hour of a steady 528 Hz solfeggio tone wrapped in a warm, slowly breathing pad, with a turning flower-of-life pattern on screen. Made as a calm background for deep relaxation, meditation, yoga, or quiet time. 🎧 HOW TO LISTEN • Speakers or headphones both work. This is a steady tone, not a binaural beat, so headphones aren't required. • Keep the volume low, just above the edge of hearing. It's meant to sit quietly in the background. • Try it during meditation or yoga, or as a quiet backdrop while you unwind before bed. • Take a break or stop if the tone feels tiring or uncomfortable. 🔊 WHAT YOU'RE HEARING A pure sine tone at exactly 528 Hz, softly layered with its sub-octave (264 Hz), fifth (792 Hz) and octave (1056 Hz) and a very slow 20-second swell in volume. Underneath is a warm, slowly breathing synth pad. The 528 Hz tone is always the strongest sound. All audio is generated, with no samples or copyrighted music. In solfeggio tradition, 528 Hz is often called the "love frequency" and is traditionally associated with calm, renewal and a sense of well-being. Many listeners use it to relax or meditate. (A fun bit of history: C = 528 Hz was once proposed as a musical pitch standard in Victorian Britain, long before the solfeggio idea.) ABOUT SOLFEGGIO FREQUENCIES The "solfeggio frequencies" are a modern idea, not a documented ancient scale. Joseph Puleo reportedly worked out the original six numbers (396, 417, 528, 639, 741 and 852 Hz) from number patterns in the Bible's Book of Numbers, and they were popularized by the 1999 book Healing Codes for the Biological Apocalypse by Leonard Horowitz and Joseph Puleo. Later writers added 174, 285 and 963 Hz. The name borrows from medieval solfège (ut, re, mi, fa, sol, la), which named the steps of a scale but never fixed them to specific frequencies. ⚠️ PLEASE NOTE This video is for relaxation and background listening only. It is not medical treatment or medical advice, and scientific evidence that specific sound frequencies have specific effects on the body or mind is limited. Enjoy it simply as calm, steady sound. Don't listen while driving or doing anything that needs your full attention. Still Tones is a series of long, calm frequency videos for background listening.
