We Rented a Cottage for Labour Day Weekend 🇨🇦

We rented a beautiful cottage by the lake in Milton, Ontario for Labour Day weekend — 3 days, 2 nights with the whole gang. Day 1 started with everyone arriving, unloading the cars, and settling into the cottage while the titas and titos took turns looking after Kiann. I also gave you guys a little tour of the property, from the lake and outdoor space to the rooms and bathrooms inside. That night, Angel planned a surprise birthday dinner for Job with one very important rule: everyone had to dress formally. Seeing everyone dressed up at a cottage was hilarious, but Angel went all out with the decorations, candlelit table, and even a printed menu for Job. After dinner, we played some chaotic beer pong and stayed up playing bingo 'til 3am. Day 2 started a little rough after barely getting any sleep. I woke up with a raspy voice but still had to get up early to feed Kiann breakfast. Kiann also got to catch up with Mama and Papa through a video call. Then Angel, Mommy, and I decided the whole house needed a wake-up call, so we blasted the PBB song through the Bluetooth speaker. They really had no choice. 😂 After brunch prepared by Mae and the girls, we spent the afternoon playing Monopoly and cornhole. I was especially bad at cornhole, but thankfully dinner was much more successful. I cooked chicken inasal for the first time, along with homemade chicken oil and sauce, and honestly... that chicken was bussin'. Better than Mang Inasal? I said what I said. The night ended with more beer pong, plenty of Uno chaos, and karaoke. I may have gotten a little too into it and pulled out my phone flashlight to hype everyone up. Somehow, the whole room followed along. On our final morning, Danica took charge of breakfast while everyone helped out. We spent the rest of the morning hanging out with Kiann, taking photos with each couple, our little family, and the entire gang before packing up and heading home. We made one last stop at Toronto Premium Outlets, although our “shopping trip” turned into more of a food trip with New York Fries, Real Fruit, and BeaverTails.
