Metallica - One (Studio Version) guitar cover

One by Metallica…from the album “...And Justice for All”. Bass & drums & vocs backing tracks extracted from the original cut via software. Mad respect to guitarists extraordinaire James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett!! As I usually do with these, attempted to recreate the studio version as closely as possible....to my ear and best of my ability…within the limitations of the software / hardware. EQ is a little different here than the original. Played through Amplitube 5 by IK Multimedia, and MP1 Pro & Acoustic Voice Guitar Preamp by Nembrini Audio. Interfaced to Macbook Pro via an AXE I/O ONE, and recorded using Garage Band. Video recorded on iPhone 13 Pro. This song is a monster exercise of efficient machine-gun-like muted alternate picking. One thing to notice is that the riff changes slightly for 8 measures during the dual-lead part toward the end. Instead of going from the E power chord to the F (minus the lower root), it goes instead to an F#. Discovered that when isolating the guitars from the original studio version. As a personal note: I do love discovering nuances to older songs that I’d never noticed before. One is the second track on Side 2 of LP 1 from the 2-LP album …And Justice for All from 1988.
