Orthodox Christian Baptism

In this session, we will explore the purpose of the Sacraments of Baptism and Chrismation as explained by Holy Fathers of the Orthodox Christian Church. Then we will discuss the process of becoming a formal catechumen. We will also discuss the need for a sponsor. Then we will touch upon the elements of the liturgical service that prepare the catechumen for the sacraments, and then what is done to administer the sacraments. Refer to the document linked from the  @ServantKonstantin channel for the text with references and a bibliography.
