QWC26 Terrapin3: На пути к глобальным квантовым сетям — строительные блоки и вызовы, Чун Ян Лам

Chune Yang Lum, co-founder and CEO of SpeQtral, outlined a path toward global quantum networks that combines metropolitan fiber infrastructure with satellites capable of carrying quantum signals across intercontinental distances. At Quantum World Congress 2026, Lum discussed SpeQtral’s space-qualified entangled-photon sources, optical ground stations, the SpeQtre satellite now undergoing on-orbit experimentation, and partnerships across Europe, Asia, and the satellite industry. Quantum key distribution is the near-term application, but the underlying space-to-ground infrastructure could eventually support broader networks connecting quantum computers, sensors, and other quantum systems.
