The ANC in the Moses Mabhida Region in KwaZulu-Natal is looking at other alternatives, following the party's failure to submit the PR candidate list to the IEC on time. Regional Coordinator Zet Luzipho has emphasised that the party is not burying its head in the sand, but is looking at making the best of a bad situation. The region oversees the Umshwathi Local Municipality, which consists of 27 seats, 14 of which are ward councillors.
