THEORY OF DIFFUSION - INTERREGNUM Collection (Deep House, Downtempo, Trip-Hop, Drum&Bass)

Every time I start working on a new collection, I imagine making something light, positive, perhaps about love, relationships, or simply the beauty of the world. But somewhere along the way, when I start writing lyrics, the direction changes. I find myself drawn toward pain, disappointment, difficult emotions, and things that are not always easy to talk about. Maybe it's a reflection of where I am emotionally right now. Maybe it's just the kind of stories that naturally find their way into my music. Either way, I've started to think that perhaps I should stop trying to decide what I ought to create and simply follow what feels genuine. That's how INTERREGNUM came to life. A collection about the space between what has ended and what has yet to begin. About lost love, fading identities, uncertainty, the search for peace, and the things we carry with us after everything changes. Musically, this one is also an experiment. It leans further into Trip-Hop, with some influence from the classic sound of Tricky, Massive Attack, and Portishead - artists whose music has always meant a lot to me. Perhaps creating what feels right, rather than what seems more appropriate, is the most honest way to make music. I invite you to step into INTERREGNUM and experience the journey for yourself.
