Film Crew Invades El Cotillo | Filming Solo (2017 film) with Alain Hernández Today, 7th September 2018, a film crew arrived in El Cotillo to shoot some sea scenes for the new film "Solo". It is being directed by Hugo Stuven and the Director of Photography is Ángel Iguácel. https://www.youtube.com/results?searc... It stars Alain Hernández and Aura Garrido. It is a true story about a surfer in Fuerteventura (Álvaro Vizcaíno) who fell down a cliff in September 2014 and then spent 48 hours seriously injured and trying to survive. They will be on the island for a total of 5 weeks filing at various locations, including Tindaya and Cofete (where the accident happened).
