Exploring Jennette's Pier | Fishing in North Carolina | Outer Banks NC Vacation Day 3

We visit Jennette's Fishing Pier on our third day at the Outer Banks in North Carolina. It was about a 15 minute drive from the Kill Devil Hills. There was plenty of parking when we arrived. Our plan was to check out the gift shop and buy some fishing supplies at the main building before heading to the pier. We walked to the end of the pier while checking out what people were catching. We found our fishing spot and got the rods set up. There were aircraft flying over us as we were fishing. We ended up catching Pinfish, Bluefish, Pigfish, Silver Perch and one other fish species that we couldn't identify but we think it is a Porgy Scup. We may have misidentified a few fish in our Avon pier video after closer examination. A few fish that we called Pinfish may be a Scup instead. Pinfish and Scup are both part of the Porgy family and do look similar in some ways. We apologize for that. We are not experts but we do our best to learn.
