⚡️WARNING⚡️
This video may involve or include experimental sound design, connecting powerful sound processing modules together in almost endless ways, sometimes creating extremely loud feedback loops, howling oscillations or badly distorted signals, suddenly and without warning.
Please be cautious and use moderate volume levels with your speakers or headphones. Hearing loss and hearing conditions like Tinnitus are permanent and irreversible. Nobody wants that, nobody needs that.
Remember, the health and safety of your sound equipment, including your hearing, is your responsibility. ✅

Bleass Fusion
Today I am playing on the iPad with an amazing wavetable distortion app called Bleass Fusion, using Bram Bos's Mononoke as my drone sound source and Audio Damage's ShinRonin as my modular delay. I also throw in some homemade GR2 MFX to spice things up.

Now that I've been able to play with the Fusion app, I'm thinking that there are three solid iPad apps: Mononoke, Fusion and ShinRonin, that could form the basis of a decent industrial drone patch that mimics to some extent the amazing sound of the currently very popular ambient industrial Eurorack hardware drone sound module called Vhikk x, by Forge TME.
If you don't know about the Vhikk X, check out this demo. Everyone in modular land seems very googoo gaga (keen hehe) on the Vhikk X at the moment.

What is the Bleass Fusion app for iPad?
BLEASS Fusion is a powerful waveshaping, distortion, and saturation audio effect app and plugin for the iPad and iPhone. [1]
Key Features
Wavetable Waveshaping: Uses over 50 wavetables to shape how audio signals are distorted or saturated. [1, 2]
Versatile Tones: Delivers anything from subtle, warm saturation to extreme, rhythmic distortion and destruction.[1, 2, 3]
Modulation Tools: Includes a motion sequencer, two low-frequency oscillators (LFOs), and an envelope follower for dynamic sound changes. [2]
Visualizers: Offers clear 2D and 3D visual representations of the waveforms as they are processed. [3]
Host Compatibility: Works as a standalone app or as an AUv3 effects plugin inside iOS digital audio workstations (DAWs) like GarageBand or AUM.

What are it's strengths?
BLEASS Fusion is highly regarded in the iOS music production community as a "Swiss Army knife" of distortion. According to expert reviews from platforms like MusicRadar and MusicTech, its core strengths include:
Unlike traditional distortion plugins that rely on one static algorithm, BLEASS Fusion derives its saturation curves from wavetables.
58 Built-In Tables: Ships with a vast collection ranging from smooth analog hardware profiles to digital "destruction" shapes.
Custom Wavetable Import: You can load your own custom wavetables, granting completely limitless tonal possibilities.
Dynamic Morphing: The dedicated "Position" and "Fold" controls let you seamlessly morph between different distortion characters in real-time.
It acts more like a sound-design synthesizer than a simple effect pedal.
Motion Sequencer: Features a built-in 16-step sequencer to program intricate, rhythmic distortion patterns.
LFOs & Envelope Follower: Two feature-rich LFOs and an envelope follower let your distortion breathe and react dynamically to the volume of the incoming track (highly effective on drums and bass).
Instant Experimentation: Includes a smart randomization "dice" button to instantly cook up unexpected textures.
Dual Multimode Filters: Equipped with two independent filters (highpass, lowpass, bell, or notch).
Pre/Post Placement: You can route each filter either before the waveshaper (to sculpt which frequencies get distorted) or after it (to tame harsh artifacts).
