বাঙালি নারী অনেক খোলামেলা, কুন্ঠা বেশি পুরুষের: রঞ্জন বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় | MUKHE MUKHE/EP 59/Subrata Sen

Ranjan Bandyopadhyay, the celebrated journalist and author, speaks his heart out in this podcast episode of Mukhe Mukhe. Bandyopadhyay, who is popular for his writings on art, entertainment and culture is also immensely controversial for his writings on personal life of Rabindranath Tagore. Though, in this episode he admits that he is an ardent fan of Tagore and describes him as so huge that Bengal would never fathom the greatness of Tagore. He is also livid about the inhibitions that has crept in among the Bengali middle-class intelligentsia, which, according to him stalls growth of intellect in this region. He talks about how, from being a professor in Scottish Church College, he became a journalist and how this journey was. He is frank about his failed marriages and his estranged near ones. Is there a hint of sadness and loneliness in this conversation? #bangla #bengal #westbengal #india #podcast #filmwallah #mukhemukhe #bangladesh #bengaliculture #kanakanjaligoldmart #puja #durgapuja #pujo #durgapujo #nostalgia #archive #literature #bengaliliterature #tagore #rabindranathtagore Our sponsor link:    / @kanakanjaligoldmart     / kanakanjaligm     / kanakanjali_gold_mart   Direction: Sumit, Samares Camera: Arjun, Subir Edit: Sanhata Studio: Filmwallah Studio Support: KP, Anandi, Swagata Host: Subrata Sen
