Welcome to Part 2 of the ultimate 260km test of endurance—our massive 13-hour push from Turtuk all the way to Pangong Lake! 🏔️🏍️ Earlier today, we stood at Thang, the official last village of India, and looked straight across the border into the Karakoram range of Pakistan. After surviving a brutal 90km off-road stretch to Diskit, crossing the Hunder plains, and marveling at the magnificent Maitreya Buddha, the real struggle began. In this second half of Chapter 9, the terrain gets even more unforgiving. We tackle the infamous and highly dangerous off-road routes through Agham, Shyok, and Durbuk. As if the broken, exhausting roads weren't enough, we found ourselves pushing through the pitch-black night, battling freezing temperatures and unexpected light snowfall for the final 30 kilometers!
