Hello there! Today, I'm going to make another exotic Vietnamese hot pot, this time using frog leg. It's been raining a lot where I live lately, and for me, that's the perfect excuse to make hot pot! In Vietnam, frog meat is quite common and easy to find at wet markets and supermarkets. It has a mild flavor and a texture similar to chicken, so it's actually quite easy to enjoy, even if you've never tried it before. RECIPE Frog Legs Stir-Fry Frog legs: 800 g Bamboo shoots: 300 g Garlic: 10 cloves (20 g) Red chili: 1 Sawtooth coriander: 20 g Fish sauce: 1 tbsp Oyster sauce: 1 tbsp Seasoning powder: 1 tsp Satay chili paste: 1 tsp Chili oil: 1 tsp Cooking oil: as needed Salt: as needed Rice wine: as needed Vinegar: as needed Hot Pot Broth Pork bones or chicken bones: 500 g Water: 2.5 litres Pineapple: 50 g Tomatoes: 2 medium (250 g) Scallion whites: 3 Sawtooth coriander stems: 15 g Fish sauce: 2 tbsp Seasoning powder: 1 tbsp Rock sugar: 20 g Fruit vinegar: 2–3 tbsp, to taste Vegetables & Hot Pot Sides Water spinach: 200 g Malabar spinach: 200 g Eggplant: 200 g Enoki mushrooms: 200 g Tofu: 3 blocks Instant noodles: 2 packs #vietnamesefood #vietnamesecuisine #hotpot #thuyinthekitchen
