It feels like Tokyo is finally starting to cool down a little, but we’ve been having a pretty rainy week lately 🌧️ Today was my day off, but I ended up spending almost the entire day at home. It felt like a bit of a waste, but honestly, I just didn’t feel like going outside and getting soaked in the rain. In Japan, you sometimes hear the word “hikikomori,” which refers to people who withdraw from society and spend long periods of time isolated at home. I definitely had a little hikikomori day today 😅 Eventually, I had to leave the house because I was completely out of food. While I was out, I tried one of KFC’s new menu items, and later I made Japanese curry for the first time in a long time 🍛 Sometimes a quiet day at home is exactly what you need.
