Exploring Ninh Binh by Bicycle – What a Day in Vietnam! 🇻🇳

My first day exploring Ninh Binh, Vietnam, and what an incredible place! I'm staying in Tam Coc, just outside Ninh Binh City, and decided to borrow a bicycle and see where the day took me. Things didn't go entirely to plan. My bicycle basket fell apart, I broke my glasses, and somehow I ended up posing for photographs with a bunch of purple water lilies! Along the way, I visited the beautiful Bich Dong Pagoda, cycled through some spectacular limestone mountain scenery, explored the streets of Tam Coc and got a feel for what this popular part of northern Vietnam is really like. Later in the day, I headed out towards Ninh Binh City for another little adventure. If you're planning a trip to Ninh Binh or Tam Coc, a bicycle is a wonderful way to explore the surrounding countryside. Bich Dong Pagoda is well worth visiting, and I'd recommend exploring early in the morning before the heat builds up. This is just my first day here, with plenty more exploring to come.
