Body Slams

A couple of bull grey seals indulge in a bit of one-upmanship to try and establish mating rights. At the moment it's pretty low key. It can get quite violent and bloody once the cows become available for mating. The thick skin and layers of fat can protect seals from serious injury but infections and other injuries can affect them. One bull seal at Donna Nook lost a claw the year previous to this.
