Silent hike down Icehouse Canyon. This video starts at Icehouse Saddle and ends at the Icehouse Canyon trailhead. I think going downhill is the best way to experience this trail. You get to see Icehouse Creek grow from a tiny wash into a beautify mountain stream. The easiest way to do this is to do the Ice House Canyon Trail as a loop going clockwise, first heading up Chapman Trail to Cedar Glen Campground and then traversing along the southwest flank of Telegraph Peak to the saddle. On this hike you will see large redwood trees, beautiful mountain views, fields of boulders, trickling (or raging) stream (depends on time of year). You may also see a large colony of beetles!
