Late ba si Baby? Kailan dapat ngumiti, umupo, gumapang, mag-babble, tumayo, o magsabi ng “mama”? 👶💛
AGE → CONNECT → COMMUNICATE → LEARN → MOVE → SUPPORT → WATCH
We cover the most important developmental checkpoints during the first year:
❤️ 2 Months — smiling, looking at faces, early sounds, tummy time
🗣️ 4 Months — interaction, chuckling, vocal play, reaching
🧠 6 Months — recognizing familiar people, exploring, rolling and early sitting skills
🖐️ 9 Months — sitting, babbling, object play, social interaction and movement
👶 12 Months — gestures, early communication, pulling to stand, cruising and exploration
And one very important reminder:
MILESTONE ≠ DEADLINE.
We also answer common questions Filipino parents search online:
🔎 Dapat ba nakakalakad na si Baby pag 1 year old?
For babies born prematurely, we also explain corrected or adjusted age and why chronological age alone may not always give the best picture of early development.
Most importantly, this video discusses when parents should PAUSE → OBSERVE → ASK, especially when:
• may concern sa hearing, vision, movement, communication, or interaction
• o may persistent concern ka bilang magulang
Developmental milestone checklists are useful for monitoring, but they do not replace formal developmental screening or evaluation by a healthcare professional.
💡 Instead of asking:
“Nauna ba si Baby?”
Ask:
“Patuloy ba siyang nagde-develop?”
Track development. Support development. And when you're concerned, ask early.
