Ingredients:
1 box devil's food cake mix
1 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
1 stick butter, melted
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
3 cups boiling water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter in a 9X13 baking dish. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, milk and vanilla by hand, no mixer needed. Pour over the melted butter do not stir.
In a separate bowl, stir together sugar and cocoa until well combined. Distribute over the cake mix, again, do not stir.
Pour boiling water over the sugar and cocoa mix. Do not stir.
Bake 35-40 minutes. Do not overbake. The cake should be ooey and gooey.
Cool on a cooling rack. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
Options:
sprinkle with chocolate or peanut butter chips or a combination of both before putting in the oven to bake.
