Exploring the HEART of El Salvador. National Palace in Historic San Salvador.

Today we're spending the day exploring the historic center of San Salvador. It's always interesting to see how much history, culture and beautiful architecture you can find right in the heart of the capital. One of the places we visited was the National Palace. This beautiful historic building is such an important part of San Salvador's history, and seeing it in person was really special. From there, we continued exploring the historic center and made our way to the Cathedral of San Salvador. The cathedral is the main Catholic temple of the country and is an important symbol of Salvadoran faith and history. The inside was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, there was a service taking place when we visited, so cameras weren't allowed inside. Because of that, I couldn't film the beautiful interior for you. But honestly, there's so much to see around the historic center that we kept exploring. And then there's the beautiful new National Library! There was just WAY too much to show you in one video, so I'm going to save the National Library for my next video. I can't wait to take you inside and show you around.
