ArchitectuREAL SGAF20: Session 1: Formation and Intent

What began as an idea has grown into a platform that brings people together through architecture, ideas, and conversations. In this special edition of ArchitectuREAL, we revisit the early years of Singapore Archifest (SGAF) with past Festival Directors as they share memories of building the festival from the ground up, from the first Architours and exhibitions, to the evolution of pavilions and public programmes that opened up conversations beyond the profession. Reflecting on 20 editions of experimentation, collaboration, and community, the conversation celebrates the spirit of curiosity that continues to shape SGAF, and the many people who have contributed to its journey. Join us as we celebrate SINGAPORE ARCHIFEST 2026 — 20th Milestone Edition 📅 Festival: 17–31 July | Islandwide 📅 SGAF Conference, Expo & Market: 22–24 July | Sands Expo & Convention Centre Full programme at archifest.sg
