Our Biggest YouTube Fan Came to the Farm

Meet Harvey, possibly Allusions Farmstay’s biggest YouTube fan. We met Harvey at our local footy club when he casually informed me that not only did he watch our YouTube channel, he already knew who I was. Since then, he’s become a regular source of farm advice, video suggestions and very strong opinions about what we should be doing next. So obviously, we invited him out to Allusions. Harvey came to meet the animals he’s been watching on YouTube, feed the Highland cattle, explore Chicken Town, meet the pigs and piglets and put some of his actual agricultural knowledge to work. There was just one small challenge: after a bad experience in the past, Harvey wasn’t particularly comfortable around dogs and Allusions has some rather large ones. By the end of the day, though, he wasn’t just visiting anymore. He was doing farm jobs, assessing the animals, giving me paddock advice and already planning what he’s going to do next time.
