The Poet and The Lover

The Poet: “I thought every poem I wrote was a piece of my heart.” The Lover: “I never needed your poems. I needed you to see me.” --------------- 🖋️ The song is about two people who love each other, but speak completely different emotional languages. The Poet expresses everything through his poems, believing that if she understands his words, she will understand him. The Lover tries to understand every line, every metaphor, and every silence, but slowly realizes that while he asks her to read his heart, he never learns to read hers. Two hearts. Two languages.
