I Built a 30ft CATAPULT to Launch Myself

We decided to take on one of our craziest projects yet. Building a real human catapult from scratch. After weeks of planning and engineering, we finally put it to the test, starting with a dummy to make sure everything worked safely. Once the first test was a success, one of us stepped up to be launched for real, and the feeling of flying through the air was absolutely unreal. But we didn’t stop there! We packed up the catapult and brought it all the way to Macherfest, one of Europe’s biggest DIY and maker festivals, where thousands of curious people come to build and share their inventions.
