Etched in Memory (Tomb Raider-Inspired) | Dean Kopri

I'm still exploring the world of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis - and apparently, the inspiration just keeps flowing lately! 😅 This time, I've combined musical motifs inspired by Legacy of Atlantis with a touch of the classic Tomb Raider theme, along with a few ideas of my own. Rather than presenting either theme in its entirety (something I've done quite a few times before 😉), I wanted to explore them through smaller fragments and motifs, weaving them together into something new while preserving the essence of both. "Etched in Memory"is a title that connects the nostalgia of the original Tomb Raider with the anticipation and inspiration surrounding Legacy of Atlantis. With this piece, I wanted to capture that feeling of revisiting something familiar, yet experiencing it from a new perspective - a musical bridge between cherished memories and new adventures. I hope this music takes you back in time, brings back some wonderful memories, and lets you rediscover a little of that magic that made Tomb Raider so special in the first place. While searching for artwork that would complement the music, I stumbled upon this beautiful illustration by pure coincidence - and, to my surprise, it shares the exact same title! Sometimes, these little coincidences feel like they were meant to happen. 😊 The artwork is by the talented Sarah Christina. A special thank you to Sarah for kindly allowing me to use her beautiful artwork for this video. 😊 🎨 Check out Sarah's artwork: Instagram: [  / sarahchristinaart  ] DeviantArt: [https://www.deviantart.com/forty-fathoms] And finally, happy 30th anniversary to all Tomb Raider fans, and to Lara Croft herself! 🥳🎂 Here's to 30 years of unforgettable adventures, incredible memories, and a legacy that continues to inspire us all.
