Driving Iron Mountain Road: The Wildest Road in the Black Hills

We start our adventure by walking around the historic town of Custer, South Dakota, before heading into Custer State Park to take in the beautiful scenery that makes this area so special. From there, we hit the road for one of the highlights of the day—driving the famous Iron Mountain Road. With its winding turns, tunnels, pigtail bridges, and incredible views, this is definitely a drive you don't want to miss when visiting the Black Hills.
