In this adventure, we take a closer look at Devils Tower before hitting the Tower Trail, a 1.3-mile loop that circles the base of this massive formation. Along the way, we get some incredible up-close views of the Tower, walk through the surrounding forest, and see the huge boulder field scattered around its base. Devils Tower rises dramatically above the surrounding landscape and holds tremendous cultural significance for many Native American tribes. It also made history in 1906 when President Theodore Roosevelt designated it as America’s first national monument.
