BIRDING IN ESWATINI. Hlane Royal Game Reserve. Hlane is Eswatini's largest game reserve and features most of the Big 5. The birding is outstanding with the Ndlovu Rest Camp area alive with breeding birds. There is a waterhole at the rest camp that is a magnet for animals and birds. I only spent a day and one night there and the park deserves more time to explore it more thoroughly. I found it difficult to drag myself away from the rest camp because filming the breeding birds was just magic.
