Daybreak

Welcome to Whitney Young Asian American Club's 31st Annual Cultural Showcase! Last year, we strove to recreate a vibrant community for our members- a community that they could call "Home". With a focus on community service and activism, we present to you this year's theme: Daybreak. We wanted out theme to focus on bringing light to topics and subjects that have been underrepresented in AAC and the Asian-American community as a whole. "Daybreak" symbolizes AAC's rise into a new era. Throughout this school year, we focused on reaching out to our community and promoting social activism and justice, as well as highlighting underrepresented Asian cultures in our monthly newsletters. As you watch the show, we ask you to reflect on how you have bloomed this year- whether it was engaging in a passion, servicing a community, or taking steps to be the best possible version of yourself.
