Groot’s Roaring Mack MR McNeilus Rear Loader Garbage Truck

Watch in 2160p60 With Groot’s fleet of rear loaders out of this yard being in the process of getting some updating, I knew I had to go get some of these on film while they’re still around. One afternoon I found myself right near where they work, so as I passed through I grabbed a quick video of one of their MR’s with a McNeilus body. The driver was super cool with me filming and was a great guy in general, and he worked at a good pace and really took care of his customers. The tipper cycled at a decent speed and the truck sounded fantastic which only added to the fun, and being that this was filmed on normal streets rather than the alleys that make up the majority of this city it made it much easier to grab better shots. At the time of uploading this video, 2 LR McNeilus’s have been put on route and more are on the way. While it’s sad to see relics like these go, I’m sure drivers will be pretty happy being that they aren’t climbing in and out of a cabover all day haha without any further to do, I hope you all enjoy the video!
