FC Strathmore Split Celebrates 50 Years

For 50 years, Strathmore Split SC has been a home for Croatian football, culture and community in Melbourne. We spoke to members of the Strathmore Split community across generations to hear the stories behind the club from its beginnings in 1976 and the search for a permanent home, to its growth into a thriving junior club and its ambitions for the future. As Strathmore Split prepares to co-host the Croatian Soccer Tournament later this month, we look back at five decades of the club and the people who have helped make it what it is today. 00:00 The Birth of Strathmore Split 01:04 From Humble Beginnings to a Home 05:19 Building the Next Generation 06:16 The Future of Strathmore Split
