Bodiam Castle May 2026

#bodiamcastle #carp #bats #posterntower A day in May we went to Bodiam Castle in East Sussex. It is one of the many National Trust sites. The castle was built in 1385. Its exterior is well-maintained and has a symmetric architectual design. It was a castle, fortress and home to many rich and powerful in the past. The views of the castle floating in the moat is stunning from different angles. Furthermore, the scenic views from the towers are magnificent too. Bodiam Castle is also home to three types of bats and is one of the most important roosts in the UK. Area surrounding the castle is green, tranquil, fabulous and beautiful. Hope you enjoy the video.
