[Shattered Molds]
[Verse I – ORIENTATION]
No earth. No roots. Only concrete.A shaft of light, a dying server's pulse. We fall in silence through the cold vacuum, between clock hands, ozone, and dust.
The impact soft. The contour sharp.A room that breathes in artificial gray. The floor swallows the meager light;in oil drowns what once was our name.
I hear my breath.
Still sounding human.
Still.
[Pre-Chorus – FIRST SHIFT]
The walls are closing in,yet nobody moves.
A clock strikes backwards.
I think it knows me.
[Chorus – MELAN / SEDUCTION]
Drink the quicksilver. Taste the iron.Let every straight thought bleed.
We break the mold until its edges tear,in the cold wonderland beneath our shoes.
Here the floor breaks. The depth begins. No way back when the direction blurs.
And somewhere behind the noisesomething has already learned my name.
[Verse II – ALIENATION]
A garden of chrome and steel.
No leaves.
Only monitors swaying in the wind.
They show thoughts nobody spoke aloud.
The Hatter sits inside a cage of cables, turning an old watch through his fingers.
Above him hangs a glass pendulum.
Its shadow never falls in the same place twice.
"Time rusts," he says.
Behind him, brass eyes tick in the dark.
I cannot tell
whether they are watching me
or waiting for me.
He looks at me.
"You're too early," he says.
"Or too late."
I no longer know
which answer was mine.
[Pre-Chorus – SECOND SHIFT]
My shadow walks toward me.
It wears my face.
I ask it for my name.
It starts to laugh.
For the very first time
I miss gravity.
[Chorus – DISSOLUTION OF LOGIC]
Drink the quicksilver. Speak in iron.
The numbers lose their skin.
We break the mold until the molds resemble us,until nothing proves there was ever order.
Here the floor breaks. The depth begins.
Time falls in silence and stands still no more.
And somewhere behind the noisesomething inside me begins to turn.
[Bridge – LOSS OF IDENTITY]
Out of the fog: a neon smile.
No body left.
Only current beneath the skin.
My hands remember things
I have never done.
"She is still looking,"
whispers the night.
Then my name falls
out of my mouth
and shatters on the floor.
No pain.
Just silence.
And someone picks up the shards.
[Breakdown – THE MIND SNAPS]
Who said
the line has to be straight?
Who said
inside has to be inside?
Who said
that I
am I?
[Guitar Solo]
[Final Chorus – TRANSFORMATION]
I am the quicksilver. I am the iron.
Now even fear tastes of light.
We break the mold, and beneath it there is no void, only a world shattering its masks.
Here the floor breaks. The depth begins.
No more falling, just movement in the wind.
I see the end,
and it looks back.
[Outro – CLARITY]
The contours blur.
The walls breathe.
The current flows through me
as if I had always
been made of it.
No fear.
No answer.
Only pure curiosity.
I polish the mind.
Not to save it.
Just
to make it cut.
