My First Hike in Tokyo 🇯🇵 | Mt. Mitake, Shrine & Forest Trails

My first-ever hike took me to Mt. Mitake, a peaceful mountain escape in Tokyo 🌿 After an early morning train ride and a scenic cable car journey, I visited Musashi Mitake Shrine and wandered through beautiful forest trails, moss-covered rocks, and flowing streams. At the shrine, I drew an omikuji (Japanese fortune slip) that reminded me of the importance of appreciating the little things in everyday life. After a day surrounded by nature, I returned home for a relaxing bath and one of my favorite vegetarian dishes, pad Thai. A little adventure, a moment of reflection, and the simple joy of trying something new.
