#drone #texas #hiking #hillcountry #music #views In far west Bexar County, San Antonio Texas Padrone Hill sits above the surrounding landscape at approximately 919 feet above sea level. At one point located out in the country side it has been recorded in the past as an overlook by historic and prehistoric inhabitants but is now surrounded by houses from various subdivisions. However the hilltop has been preserved greatly as a neighborhood park from the Home Owners Assocation of "Laurel Mountain Ranch". You can see downtown San Antonio from the top of the street, Emory Peak, leading up to the hilltop and the hill is covered in various Hill Country Trees & fauna, ie Live oak, Mountain Laurel, Mountain Cedar(Ashe Juniper), Yucca and more. I encourage a visit to the small ~5 acre park with various benches, pergola & walking trails to see a historical site, one of the highest points of the Far west side of San Antonio and one of the few high points in Bexar County.
