Bocchi the Rock! ED1 全部樂器のカバー "Distortion!!" (All Inst. Cover + Lyrics/歌詞)【ぼっち・ざ・ろっく！】

Another love letter to music, this time from KANA-BOON’s leading man. Well, really, this entire show is a love letter to music and how it provides a wonderful way for us to interact with each other, especially when socialization is hard. I mean, I still don’t understand most Japanese, but I understand music, and this soundtrack captivated me long before I ever started watching the show. The granular details of playing the guitar that Kessoku Band’s lyricists wax about are exactly why generative AI will not replace much of the process for performing musicians. The act of doing, the calluses on my fingers, the struggle with the gear to dial in the perfect sound, that’s what gives making music this power over us. Maybe the producer or the audience member cares mostly about results, but without the process, music loses most of its meaning for me. Anyway, I think it was like take 123 or so of over 200 takes of the main guitar solo before I thought I might have bitten off more than I can handle with this one. At least at 176 BPM @_@ but we got it done… six days behind schedule, hahahaha. ♪───Ｏ（≧∇≦）Ｏ───♪ INSTAGRAM for more projects:   / juni.versaru   Please support the original artists:    • Distortion!!   Original song: “Distortion!!"
