State of the Art Pneumatic Pile Driving Hammers Our new hammer is simple to use and easy to maintain and is reliable and robust.We have been designing Pile Drivers for over 15 years. Our newest Pile Hammer is unique. It is equipped with clamping leads which allow free vertical movement of the hammer. Leads are stiff enough to resist bending during the driving and the operation. It will hold the pile rigid in the driving position. The clamping lead has two sets of arms that actuation is independent. Each set of arms is connected with a gear set to assure centering of the pile. It will also hold center of a tapered pile. Clamp can be made to fit square or round pile and can be adapted to fit any other manufacturers hammer. The ram and cylinder rod are one and the same. This allows the hammer to be short for a given weight and reduces the crane requirements. The ram and cylinder rod are chrome plated for maximum life. The height of the stroke can be set in a matter of seconds. There is a striker plate positioned between the ram and the pile. This directs the energy to the piles and not to the hammer frame. It also sets the lower limits of ram. The remote control has a single hit button, a continuous hit switch, and a clamp control. There are two valves mounted on the frame and are connected to the control box by a standard drop cord. It requires a 12V power source. This allows the operator to control the hammer from the cab of the crane. This would be a great rental opportunity. This system is user friendly, reliable and easy to maintain.
